- Sleeping in until 7:30 this morning.
- Excellent creama on my espresso shot
- A very well behaved two year old. Not a single time out today.
- Freshly vacuumed carpet. I hate vacumming but I love how it looks right after it’s done.
- Mail love from my sis. An awesome little care package including this bag that I had my eye on at Target, a BIG cheese grater (is there anything worse than grating tons of cheese with a tiny grater?), a pizza cutter, a tape adaptor so I can listen to my iPod in the car, and some cute scrapbook stuff.
- My hot turtle brother (please read the comment from Kristi on my Ode…) calling to tell me he’s coming for a visit next week! Within an hour of him calling to see what we were doing starting August 5th, he had his plane ticket. So fun.
- Watching the Kinsey’s for a few hours this afternoon
- Taking some really funny pictures with the boys. I can go from scary psycho babysitter to happiest babysitter on the block to fish hook babysitter in the blink of an eye.
- Swimming with Connor. Love the squeals he lets out when jumping off the side. It’s the sound of pure joy.
- Coming home to a crock pot dinner ready for eatin’
- Looking out my living room window and seeing this. (okay, so I went on the roof so the building wouldn’t get in the picture. But this is pretty much the view.)
I’m loving life today. God has surely blessed me.

And So Cal? sigh. That’s my home… grew up out there… then was transpanted in ohio in high school. boy do I miss it…and my family out there too… those palm trees got me reminiscing.
