The past few days Connor and I have been having the same conversation at nap time and it’s really been cracking me up.
Me:”Okay Connor, you remember the rules at rest time, right? Stay on your bed, play quietly with your toys, and when you eyes get heavy…”(Connor interupts)
Connor:”I wike dem widdle.”
Me:”Okay, just remember to play quietly and when your eyes get heavy, close them.”
Connor:”But I wike dem widdle” (Said this time while poking his eyes)
I couldn’t figure out why he kept saying he wanted his eyes little intead of open or even awake. So I told Derek this story today and he had a great insight into Connor’s mind.
Heavy things are big, so he wants his eyes little. I love how that kid’s mind works. So cute.
And along those same lines, I want my boys to stay little. They are just growing up so fast. All of the sudden, Connor can ride a bike with pedals, Logan can sit up and get all over the room by rolling, and he is eating food. Where has the time gone?
Oh my gosh – Logan and Macy soooo have the same mohawk!!
Cute pictures. I know I wish Brock would stay little forever. He grows and changes everyday. He discovers new things and it just brings a tear to my eyes thinking that he is almost 1 years old.
You have some dang cute kids. Please eat In n Out in my honor some time this weekend, if the post-vacation budget allows for it.

I absolutely loved Survivor too. Man, it was so hard core, all the puking, dehydration, cramping of the muscles, the eyes rolling in the back of the head on the verge of passing out, tearing of the bicep muscles, tripping during the hike, FABULOUS! So who’s your favorite. Mine is Ex-NFL and Ivy League so far, and the nurse. Things that I found hilarious: Rafe (I think that’s his name with the red hair), if you closed your eyes and listened to him, you would think he was a teenage girl. Even when he screamed during victory, such a girl. Jeff Probst also looks like he’s 50. He looks especially aged in this episode. Oh I’m going to love this season, I can’t wait till the next episode. Survivor still has my heart.
