I’m a mom

That’s right. We bought a minivan. I couldn’t be more excited! I love it. My favorite feature so far has to be the automatic sliding doors. Connor thinks it’s pretty cool too. I do officially feel like a mom now that I drive a mom car. But as far as minivans go, I think the Odyssey is definately the coolest!

I haven’t blogged in awhile because, quite frankly, I can’t think of much to write about. I am so ready to move into our house. I am ready for our life to get back to normal. I am ready to be near Derek all the time. I am ready for Connor to turn back into my sweet little boy. The past few weeks have been rough with him to say the least. I know that there is a season for everything, and to be honest, this season has not been the best. Ever since October when Derek started working like a crazy man. And now we are just in limbo. I don’t want to just come on the blog and complain because I figure no one really wants to read about that. I know that I am blessed and I am so much better off than too many people to count. But I would be lying if I didn’t admit that the past few months have been rough on us. I just got to keep plugging along and constantly remind myself of the blessings in my life.

I am excited about the future. I don’t really like to do New Years resolutions…I just think they are silly. But there are a few things I would like to accomplish in 2006. I would like to lose the rest of the Logan flab. I would like to get rid of our credit card debt. I would like to keep on scrapbooking and keep on taking pictures. I would love to be published in a scrapbooking magazine or be on a design team. I want to learn some new recipes. I want to be more organized and live simply. I want to be happy. I want my boys to be happy and respectful and obedient. I want to go on a cruise. <----Okay, I doubt that will happen in 2006, but maybe in 2007. I want to find a good babysitter and start having date night. I want to make new friends in Houston. I want to deepen my relationship with God. I think that list is a good start. Happy New Year, everyone!
