We got back yesterday from San Antonio. We had such a good time! It was exhausting, but so, so fun. I think once you have kids, you just get used to the fact that you usually come home from vacation more tired than when you left.

Here are some pictures from our time at Sea World.

First roller coaster of the day. We arrived at the park late Sunday afternoon, and we immediately rode this ride. The kids loved it!

This was the photo spot for the Texas Splashdown. The kids LOVED this ride. It was Connor’s favorite, as you can see by his face.

This was C’s reaction to the water ski show. He loved that show! I mean, what’s not to love? People doing flips on water ski’s? I think that’s cool too!

Derek and Logan after enjoying an ice cream cone. Right after this picture, a huge storm rolled in. We took refuge at the sea lion show, which was eventually canceled because of lightening.

Happy mama and dad.

Our one and only family picture, taken while we were waiting to see if the sea lion show would start.

  1. I don’t know that I’ve EVER come home from a vacation and felt rested….of course that’s probably b/c we’ve never taken a vacation where we just sit around and relax 😉

Looks like the boys had so much fun!!!

  2. hello Friend! I haven’t been a very good blog reader lately! Sounds like you are having a total summer blast!!! Love all your fun vaca pix!!!! Hopefully, we can catch up soon!

  3. Hey Megan,
I am new to the blogging thing but ran across your blog when I was visiting Jacquie Graves in Houston. I have enjoyed reading your postings and seeing your beautiful children. I just started a blog a few weeks ago, it is very “bare bones” and needs some work but it’s a start. We were in Houston for my brothers wedding on July 14th. I wish I had known ahead of time you lived in Houston I would have tried to look you up. We got together with Annalee one day for lunch when she mentioned you lived there. We are in PA and loving being close to family. Keep in touch.
