30 Days of Blogging

I’ve decided that I’m going to blog every day in November.  Just thought it might be fun!

My friend Amy commented about Camryn’s princess costume instead of Wonder Woman costume.  I forgot to mention that I procrastinated too long on the wonder woman onesie and didn’t order it in time.  I thought about making her costume myself, but then I just decided to go with what I had in the closet already.  I was too busy getting frustrated making caramel apples and painting pumpkins with the kids.  Maybe next year.

So every day blogging…what will I ramble on about?

Did I tell y’all I started working out?  Not much change yet…it’s been 3 weeks, and I think I’ve lost about 2 pounds.  I’ve lost all the weight I gained with Camryn, so now I’m working on the stuff that’s been hanging out on my bootie for the past 3 years.  It’s quite comfortable there, unfortunately, which I think is why the results are slow so far. Even with no results so to speak, it’s been really good to exercise again.  Logan and Camryn love going, and it’s just the perfect little morning outing.

I went to the grocery store today and saved $24 with coupons!  Love that.

I’m going out to dinner tonight with some friends, and I cannot wait!  I have the best husband ever.  I actually get together with girlfriends on a fairly regular basis, and he does not ever complain about it.  Thanks, babe!  I always appreciate it, even if I forget to tell you that.

That’s all I got for today.  Tune in tomorrow for more…

Once a week

I am good at doing the laundry.  I am not so good at putting it away.  I’ve actually decided that even though I do several loads every other day, I am only going to put away on Sundays.  I would rather only put away one day, even if it takes 3 times as long.

I am good at putting Cami’s laundry away.  The cuteness factor has a lot to do with that.  But the rest of us with ho-hum wardrobes?  Tough luck.

My pile wins.  My pile always wins. I’m good at making dirty laundry, leaving clean clothes on the floor long enough that they become dirty and have to be washed, and Camryn is a really good spitter-upper.

I love the smell of fresh laundry.

See you when I ermerge from Laundry Land.

Happy Halloween, Part 2

Before:

Getting ready to carve the pumpkin.

Despite how this may look, they both refused to touch the icky insides.

Camryn kept a close eye on Derek’s pumpkin scooping.

Does it look like it’s going in or coming out?

With Logan’s help, I carved the face designed by Connor.

Logan was so pleased, he started marching around the yard. Connor and Camryn were captivated by my mad pumpkin carving skills.

While I was carving the pumpkin, Connor was hard at work. He was creating a prize for whomever gave him the best candy.

Check out that concentration.

This was the coveted prize.

the Storm Trooper, Batman, and the Princess.

I promise Connor did not drop Camryn.

The Princess lounging.

The anticipation of what will be on the other side of the door…

Trick or Treat! I love how excited this man was to be handing out the candy. (And is it just me, or does he sort of remind you of Santa?)
