My name is Megan, and before you consider hiring me to take your photos, I think you should know a little bit about me.  I’ve been married for 10 years to a wonderful man who was my high school sweetheart and is my best friend in the world.  We have three children, Connor (age 7), Logan, (age 5), and Camryn (age 2).  We live in the Clear Lake area of Houston, and I’ve been very blessed to be a (mostly) stay at home mom for the past 7 years.

I’ve always loved being creative.  I’ve been an avid scrapbooker for many years, and photography has been a natural extension of my love to create and remember the details.  I’ve always loved taking pictures, and like a lot of people, after I had children it seemed even more important than ever to get those memories recorded on film.  I slowly and surely began to learn more about photography and to explore exactly what appeals to me in a photo.  My favorite photos of my own children are never the ones where they look at the camera and say “cheese!”  My favorite photos are the ones where they are playing with their favorite toy, wearing their favorite green rain boots, and above all, having fun.  I love to capture not just smiles, but relationships.  I don’t just want to see my kids sitting stiffly in their Sunday best with forced smiles.  I want to see them laughing and jumping and wrestling in the backyard because that is what our life really looks like.

I’d love nothing more than to have the opportunity to capture a little slice of your life.  We’ll have fun.  I promise.
