I am an on-location, natural light photographer located in the Houston area. I serve the communities of Clear Lake, Webster, Friendswood, Pearland, League City, Pasadena, Kemah, and Dickinson, TX.
My goal for each and every session is to create images that capture the true beauty and spirit of your individual family. I will do my very best to keep our session lighthearted, laid-back, and fun. When you have fun, smiles are natural, and I will capture those sweet little moments that might otherwise be overlooked. A typical session will last 1-2 hours and will yield at least 25-35 proofs. The session can take place just about anywhere, from a park, to the beach, to a field, to your home. I have a few favorite locations, but I am always up for something new!
If your kids get cranky, we can take a break. If you want to have a wardrobe change, go for it. I will probably spend a little bit of time talking with you and talking with your kids before I even pull out my camera. I will do some posed shots, but I will also take a lot of pictures in between the poses. I won’t ever tell your kids to say “cheese.” I’m much more likely to tell a joke or simply talk to them about their lives. My goal is to make your family feel comfortable, and in the end, come away with photos that you will treasure for years to come.
For newborns and babies under 6 months old, I recommend having the session in your home. I will bring my portable studio, and we can also take photos using the nursery or other areas of the home as the backdrop. For toddler, child, and/or family photo shoots, I recommend using an outdoor location. My studio set up does not accommodate families at this time.
Several times per year, I offer Mini Sessions. A Mini Session is a flat rate and includes print(s) and/or digital images. Mini sessions are 30 minutes long and are offered on the date and at the location of my choice.
